XnView | Portable Fast Image Viewer with All Frequently Needed Functions

We are more and more in need of a light image viewer with batch conversion and rename functions, as well as fast loading, small size and easy editing. Here I’d like to recommend exactly such a viewer called XnView, my favorite image viewer that I have used for many years. It’s a 100% free software developed by genius Pierre.e Gougelet and it’s 100% clean without any ads. Although it already has a minimal version of about 3 MB, I’d like to recommend a way for you to use it in a even smaller size.
After download the minimal zip version of XnView from the official website, you actually only need to keep the XnView.exe file (only about 1.5MB) and remove all its other files and folder. Yes, that small single executable file has exactly contained all the frequently needed functions for most of common users, as listed below:
- Very fast viewing and browsing
- Batch conversion into JPG, PNG, BMP and etc many formats, meanwhile image resize and color bits conversion are also supported.
- Batch rename
- Image crop
- Many more very useful functions…
I most like its powerful and easy-to-use batch conversion function, especially for its image conversion into PNG format, which minimizes image size without losing quality by setting compression rate to “9″ and is able to convert between different color bits, even better than the most professional but also expensive image editor Photoshop.
All these great features just cost about 3 MB disk space!
